Austin is full of builders, makers, and shops. My work is at the quieter end of the spectrum — restrained profiles, matched grain, resolved joinery. It's meant to hold up against the good stuff on your walls, not compete with it.
Walnut, white oak, cherry, pecan, mesquite — species that behave well in Central Texas heat. Every board is milled, dried, and finished in a climate not far from yours, so pieces stay stable after they cross the state line.
When a commission is finished, I drive it to Austin myself. Delivery, placement, and packaging removal are included on every piece.
When a piece is finished, I load it, drive it, and place it in your home myself. No freight carriers, no crate to break down in your driveway, no damage claims to argue. It's part of the commission.
Home visits for measurements can be arranged in the greater Austin area — just ask.
